When you are thinking of starting a small business and becoming an entrepreneur, it really helps to seek out advice from other entrepreneurs that have experience and success in owning their own Online Business.
Many new entrepreneurs are excited by the opportunity to own their own business, and will forge ahead without doing their due diligence and getting the advice needed to understand exactly what is required to succeed. Recently, when looking for a new online business, I have greatly benefited from having a strong mentor and coach to help me understand exactly what steps I needed to take and avoid making the mistakes that many new business owners make.
So, when you consider a new online business, look for a program that has a built-in support system of Leaders and Mentors that will teach you step by step how you can be successful operating your own online business. Follow the leader has never been more important for you if you want to duplicate their success in your business.

FINDING A LEGITIMATE ONLINE BUSINESS!
If you are looking for a legitimate online business working from home there are a number of things you can do to determine whether the opportunity is legitimate or a scam. It is to your advantage to invest your time and do your due diligences researching the opportunity before you invest any money. There are legitimate online home businesses, as well as thousands of scams on the internet, which makes trying to distinguish between the "good", the "bad", and the "ugly" quite overwhelming.
One can often get caught up in the Huge Rewards and Income claims made by some of these sites that you may dream that if this worked for you...it would be like winning the lottery! Be wary of sites that claim you can earn 10K-20K in your first week or month. This is totally unrealistic and if that amount is considerably more than you are currently are earning, do you really think that it is possible to earn this kind of money in such a short period of time with no internet or marketing experience?
If the online business opportunity is really legitimate, there should be proof of income claims, and they should be realistic in the first couple of months. Usually, the income claims are from the top earners that have been working the business very hard for several years, and are not indicative of the "average" earner. Again, do you due diligence in researching the website and the opportunity before you jump in and part with your money.
Take a look at the website to see if there is any contact information where you can leave a message or even talk "live" to someone. Check to see if there is a phone number or a physical address on the website as this adds credibility. Also, see if any guarantees are offered, such as a 30-day 100% money back guarantee, or even a 7 or 30 day free trial offer. Also check the website to see if any other information is offered such as a newsletter or other links to get more information on the opportunity. You can also look to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for any complaints against this company.
So...after you have done your research and thoroughly done your due diligence, you should now be able to make your choice to join the opportunity from sound business decisions based on facts, not hype. Good luck on your new legitimate online business!
DON’T LET ANOTHER YEAR “FLY BY” WITHOUT HITTING YOUR GOALS!
As another year and decade come to a close, it really requires one to look back on the past year on the successes you have had as well as the obstacles and hurdles that presented themselves over the year.
This past year has seen tremendous change and difficulty for many Americans, from a newly elected president to a meltdown of our economy and many jobs lost. Many people are unsatisfied with their jobs (if they are lucky enough to have one) and are unsure what the future holds for them.
Whatever circumstances you find yourself in, take a look at what your goals are for the New Year. When you make your goals, make sure to think about your plans and what actions and details are needed to achieve your goals. Ask yourself, what would you like to improve on this year? When do you want to accomplish this goal? How much time and effort will I commit to make my goal come true? You need to keep yourself accountable for your goals, and the action plan to achieve your goals.
In order to make changes in your life, you need to make a plan and follow through with ACTION. If one of your New Year's resolutions was to lose weight, but you didn't change your diet and engage in regular exercise, you would be fooling yourself if you thought that anything would change, unless you took different action. Positive change doesn't just happen, but the good news is that you can be in complete control of who you want to be and how you want to live your life, if you take positive ACTION!
